なんと昨年度中学校の定期テスト全て満点を取りました！おめでとう。 1年生の英語の内容は簡単とはいえ、 スペルミス、ケアレスミス、ピリオドつけ忘れ。。。こういったミスを一度もしなかったのはとても素晴らしいですね。 コツは何度もチェックし、見直すことだそうです。(そりゃそうだよね！) 本人のリクエストのCertificate(賞状)を手に満足げ😁 保護者の声 まさか通年満点取るなんて驚きました。 何よりただ英語塾に行ってる子は沢山居ると思いますがこんなにき れいに発音できる子は居ないと思います。ぽっけいんぐりっしゅの おかげです。 英語には自信を持っている 様に見えます。それって すごい事だと思います。 そしてただ英語を教わるだけでなく、人としての分別や見識を深め てくれる場だと思っています。 もちろん定期テストで測られるもの以上の英語力を持っていて、 テストや受験勉強も大切にしつつも点数が目的でもゴールでもありません。 今の目標は自分の思ったことを英語で流暢に話すことだそう。 英語をスキル、道具として 使いこなし、 どんどん活躍してほしいですね。 新年度もがんばろうね！Great Job!

I had to dash to get the last bus after having a great time with my friends. I ran hard. Unfortunately, I missed it. So I needed to get a taxi to my place. That was a long line, and finally, it was my turn. I got into the taxi and said the way to my home. The taxi driver seemed to be very elderly for me, and his driving speed was quite slow and careful. And we caught on some signals. I thought it took a lot of time and much more fare than usual. It was not my day. But against my expectation, the fare was less than usual. I was so surprised and apologized to him in my mind.

It was heavy rain. I saw a girl who was strongly complaining to her boyfriend. Her voice was so loud because I heard it through my hooded raincoat and the sound of the heavy rain.  The boy was sharing his small folding umbrella with her. But they were both getting wet because the umbrella was too small for both of them. It was useless.  I understood his tenderness, and I hoped she would stop complaining and notice his kindness.  But more than that, I really wanted her to notice that she was holding her own big umbrella with her left arm. She should have used it for herself instead of sharing her boyfriend's umbrella. ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️  ☔️ 

I got an e-mail from one of my friends, and it said that he had a birthday party on the weekend, so he wanted me to come to his place.  Of course, my answer was "yes." I'd be delighted to celebrate his birthday. Just in case, I asked him if someone else come. He told me the name of three other friends.  At the time, I didn't understand why he invited me to the birthday party, because all of the other members had their birthday in the same month! But I had to join it because I said "yes." At that party, I was a guest but felt like I was a host of the party. Plus, my birthday was just a month ago.  I'm sure that he should have known about my birthday. 🥳   🥳  🥳   🥳  🥳   🥳  🥳   🥳  🥳   🥳  🥳   🥳  🥳   🥳  🥳   🥳

みなさんは英語学習に何時間費やしましたか？ 今日は英語学習時間についてお話しします。週に何回通うのか、どのくらいの効果が見込めるかを判断するのに参考にしてみてください。 まず１時間のレッスンを１年間(48週)通ったとしましょう。週に１回だと48h、週に２回だと96h、週に５回だと240hになります。 これを CEFR( Common European Framework of Reference for Languages -  外国語の学習・教授・評価のためのヨーロッパ言語共通参照枠 ）に当てはめてみましょう。 Level of English (CEFR) Number of hours of instruction ＋ 50% Zero to A 70 hours 105 hours A1 to A2 150 hours 225 hours A2 to B1 300 hours 450 hours B1 to B2 200 hours 300 hours え！意外と近いかも。。。と思いたいところですが、 スペイン語などのほかの言語と比べて日本語と英語は言語間の距離があります。 つまり、英語との共通点が少ない日本語しか話せない状態で英語を勉強するなら、 これに５０％ほど学習時間をプラスすることが薦められています。 そしてこれはもちろん「学習時間」です。ぽけ〜としていたりする時間はカウントされません。とはいえ、 インプットというのは レッスン以外にも宿題をしたり、英語の歌を口ずさんだり、目にしたり、、、たくさんチャンスがあります。 ゼロ初歩的なレベル、A1到達まで105時間 単純計算で週１なら2年３ヶ月、週２なら1年１ヶ月、週５だと６ヶ月。 初歩の段階でも週１だと2年以上かかってしまいますね。 ゼロから日常会話レベル、A2到達までは330時間 単純計算で週１なら6年11ヶ月と、週２なら３年６ヶ月 ちょっと、週５だと１年５ ヶ月 。 A2はだいたい中学卒業レベルが全部できるレベルくらいのイメージ。 ゼロから中級レベル、B1到達まで780 時間 単純計算で週１なら１６年３ ヶ月 、週２なら８年２ ヶ月 ちょっと、週５だと３年３ ヶ月 。 この辺からちょっと英語できるのイメージではないでしょうか。 ゼロから自立した中上級レベル、B２到達まで1080時間 単純計算...

Which is STRANGER? I was waiting for a train at the platform with my friend.  I saw that a foreign backpackish guy was walking at the end of the platform, and suddenly he said "Hey" to me and gave me a high five in passing by.  I reacted to his high five at once.  He went away as if it were nothing.  I was really surprised at him and thought how strange he was.   And my friend was surprised too and felt how strange at me!  Why me?  I couldn't believe it!  The strange one was him, not me... 🚃  🚃  🚃  🚃  🚃  🚃  🚃  🚃  🚃  🚃
